Sivas is a traditional, quiet Cretan village with just 400 residents; it is located one village before Matalla and about 5 km from the beach. It takes just 5 minutes by car to reach the sandy beaches of Komo or Kalamaki; shopping, traditional taverns, and authentic Cretan cafés can be found right in the village.

The Sigelakis studios and apartments are located on the outskirts of the historic village of Sivas in southern Crete.
The complex was built in 2005 on a hilltop and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding area. The buildings are designed in the traditional Cretan style and blend harmoniously
